The Exchange Program was undertaken by twenty-five pupils and three teachers, who departed on March 29 via Johannesburg.

The group were accommodated in homes of pupils from the hosting school and attended classes during which they were able to expand their French language skills through immersion.

They also visited several historical and geographic sites, and took part in cultural programs. Many swam in the Atlantic Ocean for the first time. A highlight of the trip was having an opportunity to visit a volcanic crater. They touched the hardened lava from a volcanic eruption that happened thousands of years ago.

The Exchange programme was a wonderful experience and Rhodes Park School is scheduled to host pupils and teachers from the school that had hosted us.

Our student and their teachers arrived back safely in Lusaka on April 12.
