For World Book Day, we challenged our students to read in the coolest and most unusual places they could findโ€”and wow, did our ELC learners rise to the challenge! Our little bookworms turned reading into an adventure, proving that stories can come alive anywhere, anytime.

From the great outdoors to the quirkiest corners of their homes, our scholars showed us that reading isnโ€™t just about booksโ€”itโ€™s about imagination, exploration, and a whole lot of fun.

Picture this: one student nestled in a maize field, another cozied up in a cabbage patch, (reading to Peppa Pig, no lessโ€”talk about farm-to-page freshness). Some took their stories to new heightsโ€”literallyโ€”by climbing trees, while others rolled with it in a trusty wheelbarrow. And of course, the classic bathroom reading spot made an appearance (because letโ€™s be honest, itโ€™s a timeless retreat for book lovers everywhere).

These creative reading nooks remind us that the joy of reading isnโ€™t just in the words on the pageโ€”itโ€™s in the experience. Whether youโ€™re surrounded by nature, perched in a tree, or hiding from siblings in the bathroom, a good book can turn any place into a magical escape.

So, keep flipping those pages, little ones. The world is your library, and every spot is a chance to dive into a new adventure.
