Reaching the finals was no small feat, as our team faced the reigning champions (Italian School of Lusaka) in a high-stakes match. The atmosphere was electric, with supporters rallying behind our players. From the first ball, it was clear that both teams were determined to claim victory. Our bowlers began the match with precision, applying pressure on the opposing batsmen. Despite some early challenges, our team maintained their composure. In the batting innings, Addi Patel delivered an impressive performance, hitting several boundaries that energized the crowd. However, the match ultimately tested our players’ resolve, as the opposing team capitalized on a few critical moments.
Although we fell short of the championship title, our team’s performance was nothing short of inspiring. In a close and hard-fought final match, Italian School finished with 135 runs for 10 wickets, while RPS tallied an impressive 116 for 10 wickets.
This tournament has set a new benchmark for our cricket program, demonstrating that success is measured not just in trophies, but in the values of teamwork, dedication, and resilience.
