Our Under 19 Boys Chess Team continues to reign supreme at the ISAZ Chess Regional Tournament. This terms Chess tournament was held at Rhodes Park School on 21 September 2024. Competing against 9 schools, our boys showed their incredible skills and once again won another shield!
A special shoutout to Mukula Kearns (second row, first from the left), who, when asked how many shields he’s won since 10th grade, casually said, “Over 7 or so”! As he graduates this year, what a legacy he leaves behind.
The Boy’s U19 Chess Results were as follows:
1st Place: Rhodes Park School – 29 points
2nd Place: Lake Road – 25.5 points
3rd Place: Sonshine School – 22.5 points
4th Place: Kabulonga Trust – 22.5 points
5th Place: Ashford Academy- 16 points
