On February 22nd, the Grade 1 class of 2024 embarked on a trip to Munda Wanga Zoological Park and Gardens. The trip provided a unique and exciting opportunity for the students to explore the natural habitats of diverse animals in one central, easily accessible place.

Throughout this journey of exploration, the students learned about animals’ individual characteristics and behaviours. They gained an understanding of the importance of conserving our environment as they discovered how even small actions on our part can have a huge impact on animal populations.

With educational resources and experienced zoologists available to them when they visited, there truly was no better way for students to intimately educate themselves about animals than by going on this trip! They discovered how even small actions on our part can have a huge impact on animal populations.
