This year’s Science Week theme was “Innovations and Advances in Mitigating Climate Change.” Throughout the week, the children explored the connections between this theme and various areas across science, technology, engineering, and math.

We delved into human actions, discussed the impacts of development and economic growth that have a great impact on our climate, explored ways of mitigating climate change to serve our universe, and considered how even small human actions can impact the climate.

Throughout the week, each class eagerly participated in hands-on experiments and engaging activities centred around the theme. They eagerly debated and challenged each other in a variety of stimulating science quizzes related to the theme.

They used recycled materials to build different projects ranging from wind electric energy converters and Aqua Express mobile purifiers to renewable energy innovations. Our scientists discovered that tackling climate change can commence with small solutions that yield significant impacts.
