Rhodes Park School celebrated a landmark achievement at the ISAZ Senior Regional Athletics Qualifiers held at Baobab College on Saturday, with our Senior Girls team being crowned regional champions and our Boys team securing an impressive second-place finish.
After three years of steady progress, climbing from third place to second place, the Senior Girls completed their journey to the top by claiming the Girls’ Championship title. Together with the Boys’ strong runner-up finish, the results marked one of the school’s most successful performances at the regional championships in recent years.
Our athletes demonstrated determination, teamwork and resilience throughout the competition, producing strong performances across a range of track and field events while proudly representing the school.
Adding to this achievement, 44 Rhodes Park School athletes have qualified for the ISAZ Senior National Athletics Championships, which will be held in Mkushi this June.

The regional title for our Senior Girls and the strong second-place finish by our Boys reflect the hard work, commitment and perseverance shown throughout the athletics season. These results are a testament to the dedication of our athletes, coaches and support staff, whose collective efforts continue to raise the standard of athletics at Rhodes Park School.
