The World Scholar’s Cup, Global Round Bangkok, Thailand
From September 4 to September 13, 12 students from Rhodes Park Schools Group (Rhodes Park School, Woodford School Lusaka, and Ashford Academy) had the incredible opportunity to participate in the World Scholars Cup Global Round in #Bangkok, Thailand. This prestigious event draws talented young minds from all corners of the world to compete in academic challenges such as team debates, collaborative writing, the scholars challenge, and the scholars bowl.
Our students’ dedication and teamwork resulted in a remarkable achievement—an impressive haul of 30 medals. Despite the tough competition, especially from many strong Asian teams, our scholars made their mark on the global stage.
A special congratulations goes out to David Chibuye, who stood as the sole representative from Rhodes Park School. David, in collaboration with the Woodford School Lusaka team, not only embraced the thrill of international competition but also experienced the enriching opportunity to share and celebrate his own culture, explore the vibrant city of Bangkok, and connect with fellow scholars from across the globe.
